Job description

On behalf of our customers, we are looking to recruit new employees to join our banking IS consulting teams in “Technical & Functional Application Support Engineer” roles.

Your missions:

  • Ensure the proper functioning of critical applications (front office, back office, risk and regulatory) in France and internationally
  • Collaboration with MOE/MOA teams and infrastructure teams to resolve any malfunctions in the application.
  • Manage incidents and requests as well as communication.
  • Participation in on-call duty (part of the mission).
  • Writing documentation and procedures and training material exclusively in English.
  • Entry and follow-up of ticket backlogs and periodic reporting on support activities.
  • Continuous improvement process including the implementation of an operational ticket quality review process.
  • Follow-up of action plans of problems until their closure.
Profile sought

Expected prerequisites:

  • School of computer engineering (bac + 5) or university
  • Confirmed (from 2 years of experience)
  • A first experience in application support highly appreciated in banking would be a plus too.
  • Knowledge of ITIL methodology (incident and problem management) is also appreciated.
  • Working language: English (TOIEC / TOEFL)

Technical knowledge required:

  • SQL (mastery)
  • CTRLM or equivalent scheduler
  • Unix
  • Shell (script)
  • Development concepts
